Every day I spend more than an hour on a train, which gives me a lot of time to think about things. From such acorns to mighty ponderances grow. Then, I chop them down and turn them into the discourses that you see here, which on the whole put profanity before profundity. Sometimes they are short; sometimes they are long. Sometimes they will talk about politics, and sometimes they will talk about movies that I have seen. So it goes.

"Huh," you say. "That kind of sounds like a blog". Yes well. I beg to differ. "Blog" is a stupid word--you have to make your mouth do ugly things in order to say it, and it looks gross even just written. And then you wind up with neologistic monstronsities like "the blogosphere," which you could not pay me to consider myself a part of. (well. Yes you could)
